If you need to get a document certified, and you physically cannot come to our office, asking us to come to you is an option.
This is commonly considered when the person signing is injured or unwell in some way, is in a medical facility, and cannot wait for when they are healthy.
We have many clients where they are in the hospital or a long-term care facility. They have a Last Will and Testament ready to sign, they have witnesses that will be present, and want the additional paperwork for their witnesses to swear under oath that they witnessed the signing of the Last Will.
Or, they expect to be in the facility for a long time and need to grant their powers and rights to someone else to manage their home, bills, banking, among other tasks any one of us needs to do, while they are recuperating.
These, and many other reasons, are used to have one of our Notary Public officials travel to their location instead of our office.
This does not include Certified True Copies. Certified copies are photocopies of original documents; a driver's license, for example. A Notary Public does not need the owner of the document present, they only need the original document. Anyone can bring in your documents without you to get certified copies.
You don't need to bring yourself, your witnesses, or anyone else to another office at the same time. Sometimes this can be a challenge to have your friends or family leave their work in the middle of the day to do this. A Mobile Notary comes to you at your location, and this can be in the evenings or even on the weekends when most people have their days off of work.
If you are at a hospital and the doctor needs to be involved to attest to whether or not you are physically and mentally capable to sign a legal document, having the Notary Public there can administer this as well. The doctor will not go to our office to do this; they can be present when they are caring for you where you are.
This takes out the need to arrange for specialized transportation. Buses and large vehicles to transport someone who is restricted to a wheel chair, for example, is costly and time consuming. A Notary traveling to you alleviates this easily.
Flexible booking days and times - Our office has our normal operating hours, which work for many people. Our Mobile Notary services can work outside of this. Weekends, evenings, and daytime as well.
If you are healthy and able, please call our office to come in. If you are stuck, or unfit to travel, then at least you know there is an option for you. Leave the stress aside and let us take care of you and your paperwork wherever you are.
